Welcome to Yogatts
Yoga Teacher Training School
We believe great teachers aren’t born — they’re trained, nurtured, and supported. At Yogatts, our training is rooted in traditional yogic philosophy while embracing modern anatomy, teaching methodology, and inclusive practices. Our goal is to create teachers who are not only technically skilled, but also compassionate, ethical, and purpose-driven.
About
Will Lavin
Will Lavin has been teaching in London for over twenty years. His teaching is grounded in traditional practice yet delivered with a calm, accessible, and inclusive approach that welcomes students of all levels. Will began his formal training with the British Wheel of Yoga, developing a strong foundation in classical techniques, philosophy, and anatomy, before continuing his studies with Brian Cooper in Edinburgh to refine his understanding of alignment, breath, and mindful movement.
To deepen both his practice and teaching, Will travelled to Mysore, India, where he studied under the renowned Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Sharath Jois, immersing himself in the traditional Ashtanga method. Over the years, he has returned to India many times to study with other respected Gurus, further enriching his insight into the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of yoga. These experiences have shaped his balanced and authentic teaching style, encouraging strength, focus, and self-awareness.
Alongside yoga, Will is also trained in Ayurvedic Massage in Southern India and Thai Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He brought these skills together in his professional massage practice at The Waldorf Hotel in London, where his treatments were known for their restorative quality. Drawing on over two decades of teaching and bodywork, Will offers a unique blend of knowledge, experience, and compassion, and is always delighted to share his practice with others.
