YogaTTS offers a professional yoga teacher training course in Hertfordshire, just 30 minutes from London.
Based at the Sadie Centre in Letchworth, training runs one weekend per month over ten months, plus an additional Aqua Yoga practical day. It is designed for dedicated yoga practitioners who want to deepen their practice and learn to teach safely and confidently.
The 200-hour course is accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals and personally taught by Will Lavin, Senior Yoga Teacher with over 25 years’ teaching experience. Free Aqua yoga teacher training now added
Our Teacher Training Course
Our training goes beyond learning postures and sequences. Over ten months you will study yoga philosophy and history, anatomy, teaching methodology and safe practice, while developing your teaching skills through regular practical experience. Course assignments and home study support the training between weekends.
Course Details
The course combines practical teaching skills with a thorough grounding in yoga practice, helping you develop the knowledge and confidence to teach a wide range of students.
Anatomy and physiology will be fully covered both by analysing correct alignment of each asana posture, and through study of anatomy.
Safe and effective teaching is emphasised throughout, including appropriate alignment, adaptation and working with different abilities.
Yoga history and philosophy will be studied and separate course assignments/homework will be allocated.
Course Structure
The course runs over 10 months, with one training weekend each month, plus an additional practical Aqua Yoga training day. Home study and course assignments are completed between training weekends.
Our sixth Yoga Teacher Training course at the Sadie Centre starts in January 2027. Free monthly practice classes and pre-course support are available before training begins.

Pre-Requisites for attending the Course
There are no upper or lower age limits for applications.
Course now upgraded to Foundation Plus – includes pre-course assistance + 1 year’s post-course support and mentoring

Course Costs
To reserve a place on the course will require a deposit of £250
The Total cost of the 10-month Yoga Teacher Training Course is £2,500
The remainder can either be paid as a full payment of the remaining £2,250 30 days prior to the start of the course or alternatively:
- Payment of £750 30 days prior to start of the course(non-refundable)
- Payments of £175 per month for 10 months
OR
- Payment of £250 deposit (non-refundable)
- (10 months) monthly payments £225
Refunds will only be available under exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the course tutor.
