Yoga Teacher Training – next course January 2027

Become a confident, knowledgeable yoga teacher through our small-group, 200-hour in-person training in Hertfordshire.

Train one weekend a month over 10 months, giving you time to develop your own practice, learn to teach with confidence and put what you learn into practice between each training weekend.

• Small group training (maximum 15 students)

• Led by senior teacher Will Lavin (25+ years’ experience)

Yoga Teacher Training Course

This 200hr yoga teacher training course will provide you with all the knowledge and skills you will need to start a career teaching yoga. Your own yoga practice will be analyzed and tips and suggestions will be discussed to enhance both your asana practice and your deeper appreciation of yoga. An emphasis will be placed on how to ensure you can safely teach, whilst doing no harm to either yourself or your students Yoga history and philosophy will be studied, and separate course assignments/homework will be allocated.

This training may be suitable for you if you:

• Have an established yoga practice and wish to deepen your understanding

• Are considering teaching yoga in the future

• Value smaller group learning and personal guidance

• Wish to explore yoga beyond the physical practice alone

• Are looking for a training that can fit alongside work and family life

No previous teaching experience is required.

Will has:

  • Been teaching for over 30 years.
  • Studied with BWY then with Brian Cooper in Edinburgh
  • Spent time in Mysore India with Sir K. Patthabi Jois and Sharath Jois.
  • Made numerous trips to India with other Gurus.

Studying under Will you will benefit from his unique teaching and bodywork skills developed over his years of practice.
