Our Teacher Training Course
This 200hr teacher training course will provide you with all the knowledge and skills you will need to start a career teaching yoga. Your own yoga practise will be analysed and tips and suggestions will be discussed to enhance both your asana practise and your deeper appreciation of yoga. An emphasis will be placed on how to ensure you can safely teach, whilst doing no harm to either yourself or your students Yoga history and philosophy will be studied and separate course assignments/homework will be allocated.
Course Details
The course will provide you with all the knowledge and skills you will need to start a career teaching yoga. Your own yoga practise will be analysed and tips and suggestions will be discussed to enhance both your asana practise and your deeper appreciation of yoga.
Anatomy and physiology will be fully covered both by analysing correct alignment of each asana posture, and through study of anatomy.
An emphasis will be placed on how to ensure you can safely teach, whilst doing no harm to either yourself or your students.
Yoga history and philosophy will be studied and separate course assignments/homework will be allocated.
In addition to the Yoga practise and teaching, there will be also be a unique opportunity to study basic Ayurvedic and Thai massage. This will assist with general bodywork knowledge and to help with relaxation techniques.
Course Structure
The Course will take place over a 10 month period. There will be 10 weekend modules (with homework assignments). Saturdays and Sundays.
Note: Currently running third successful Teacher Training course. Next course will commence in January 2025. Pre-course assistance and free classes available for those considering registration.
Course weekends in:
Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct
In addition, there will be a requirement to attend the following:
- First Aid Training Course
- Minimum 3 External workshops (TBA)
- Minimum of 15 hours of observing/assisting classes
Pre-Requisites for attending the Course
All students applying should have a minimum of two years’ yoga practise. This does not need to be Ashtanga Yoga. Following application, a short call will be arranged to answer any queries and discuss any issues.
There are no upper or lower age limits for applications.
Course now upgraded to Foundation Plus – includes pre-course assistance + 1 year’s post-course support and mentoring

To reserve a place on the course will require a deposit of £250
The Total cost of the 10 month Yoga Teacher Training Course is £2,500
The remainder can either be paid as a full payment of the remaining £2,250 30 days prior to the start of the course or alternatively:
- Payment of £750 30 days prior to start of the course(non-refundable)
- Payments of £175 per month for 10 months
OR
- Payment of £250 deposit (non-refundable)
- 10 monthly payments £225
Refunds will only be available under exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the course tutor.
This will cover:
- All tuition and mentoring
- Course Manuals
- Handouts
- Any non-asana specific equipment used e.g. Neti pots, Sutra Cords, etc.
Not Covered:
- Cost of First Aid course
- Cost of external workshops
- Cost of required/suggested books
- Yoga Mats/bags etc.
